LGFA E-vetting System goes live on 1st June 2017

We are delighted to be able to confirm that the LGFA will be commencing E-vetting for all applicants on the 1st June 2017.

In order to prepare for the transition to exclusively e-vetting, we will accept the current Garda Vetting Application forms (hard copy) up to and including Monday 22nd May.   It is imperative that you ensure these forms are fully completed as any incomplete/invalid forms will be returned to sender.  Any forms which had been returned to sender and which are received back at the LGFA office after 22nd May 2017 will accordingly be returned for re-completion via the online e-vetting system in compliance with the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012 to 2016 requirements.

In order to allow us to facilitate the transition from the current system to the E-Vetting system, no Garda Vetting Applications will be accepted by the LGFA from Monday 22nd May to Wednesday 31st May inclusive.

From the 1st June 2017, the LGFA will only accept e-vetting applications.  All e-vetting information and relevant links to process an application will be available from the LGFA Homepage from 1st June 2017
