SENIOR MANAGERIAL VACANCY:

The Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Association welcome applications from interested parties for the position of Dublin Senior Team Manager. The Dublin Ladies County Board is anxious to feel this very important position as soon as possible. Dublin has confirmed dates for two rounds of the new Suzuki National League campaign, February 1st 2004 away to Meath, with a home fixture on the 8th of February versus Laois (Division 1 B). These dates / fixtures are pertaining to the Dublin senior team. Applicants must possess the managerial qualities required to manage a Senior Inter County Team and have a working knowledge or background of Ladies Gaelic football. GALA AWARDS NIGHT:

The Dublin Ladies Gala Awards Night will take place on Saturday the 24th of January in the Great Southern Hotel, Dublin Airport. The Dublin senior and junior teams along with the eight teams who participated in the Dublin Championship County Finals will be presented with their respective championship medals. The Dublin Player of the Year will also be announced on the night. Tickets cost €40.00 each and the occasion will be a black tie affair. As the Dublin Ladies Association prepares to celebrate the Associations 21st Anniversary in 2004 the Gala Awards night will be the start of our year long celebration and as numbers are limited early booking is advisable. SUZUKI NATIONAL LEAGUE FIXTURES:

Dates for two rounds of the Suzuki National League have become available:
01.02.2004: Meath V Dublin – Division 1 B.
08.02.03: Dublin v Laois – Division 1B.
08.02.03: Dublin v Wexford – Division 3 B.

NEW CLUBS AFFILIATING TO LADIES FOOTBALL – 2004:

A number of clubs have indicated that they wish to affiliate to the Dublin Ladies County Board in 2004, can these club secretary’s please contact Patricia Monahan at 0876128368 or e-mail: psmonahan@eircom.net. The Dublin Ladies County Board require clarification from these new clubs in order to make provisions for new teams when finalising the formation of the Associations league and championship structures for the 2004 season.
