Clann U-12 Girls in Away Win in Woodmount

Padraig Pearse’s 3-4 Clann na nGael 5-7

 

In one of the best conditions to date we played our last round of the championship in Woodmount against our neighbours Pearses on Wednesday 13^th May. Clann na nGael got off to a great start with our forwards connecting greatly on the pitch in Grace Hannon, Danielle Gately, Kate Hyland and Casey O’Neill. This gave us a comfortable lead a half time. Pearses came out in the second half with 3 successive scores to shake up the match but with Ava Brady, Sarah Shine, Mia Macken and Tara O’Neill in our defence Pearse’s were unable to reel in the lead of the Clann na nGael team final score being 5-7 to 3-4.
