Speaking about the Interfirms tournament LGFA National Development Manager, Paula Prunty said ‘We are looking forward to seeing the 9 companies in Naomh Mearnóg and beginning this new initiative. It will be great to see women that are returning to the sport after a break mixing it with seasoned inter county players. I hope that this initiative will encourage some new players to take to the game or some lapsed players to rediscover their love for the sport.’
