Cork Ladies secure sponsorship deal

Cork Ladies Football welcome Senior & Minor County Sponsors for 2010.

Following months of speculation and a hard working sponsorship committee ; on Monday night at the March County Board meeting a delighted Cork Ladies Football Chairman, Brian Enright , announced to the delegates that MCD Concerts are continuing with their sponsorship of the Cork Senior Ladies Football team for 2010 , with one of Cork’s best known Hotels the Silversprings coming on board as sponsors of the Cork Minor team.

In the present financial climate , to secure these two valuable sponsors for our county teams is a great feat and we all hope that the 2010 partnerships between MCD Concert Promotions & our Cork Seniors and the Silversprings Hotel & the Cork minors will be one of great success.

Cork minors will begin their Munster Campaign on Wednesday April 7th , details of this to follow when the fixture is confirmed.

Cork Seniors are currently holding third place in the Division 1 league table with two away matches remaining to Mayo on April 11th and Monaghan on April 18th & with the best scoring average in the league to date hopefully another favourable result out of the remaining matches will see them safely through to the semi finals.

Several of the Cork senior panel are currently away on this years All Star tour to San Francisco from March 31 to April 10th – I hope they all enjoy the experience .
