The 2014 TG4 All Ireland Senior Football Champions, Cork, have been nominated for the 2014 RTE Sport Team of the Year Award. Having been nominated several times in the past it would be fitting reward for this superb group of players should they be selected as the overall winners. However, there is some very stiff competition for the award with the Cork Camogie team along with Airtricity League champions- Dundalk, the Irish men’s rugby team and the All Ireland hurling and football champions- Kilkenny and Kerry respectively.
