Well done to our senior ladies in Brewster Park on Saturday when they held last years All Irealand finalists to a draw but lost the match in extra time.Congratulations to the scorers Yvonne Mc Monagle (3-0),Geraldine McLaughlin (1-6),Niamh Hegarty (1-2),Roisin(Yankee )Friel (1-1),Niamh McLaughlin (0-1).

I have no doubt but they willperform to their usual high standards in the back door though they will miss the three who went to America for the summer Karen Feeney, Deirdre Foley, and Eilish Ward.Geraldine and Yvonne both suffered injuries early on which reduced their usual high standard performances. Eamonn O’Boyle has done an excellent job since he took over from Michael Naughton at the beginning of the year.
