Donegal Ladies Football Notes

Our county Minor team managed by Kenny Griffin meet Kerry in the Minor A Shield in Tuam Stadium on Saturday afternoon at 3pm,referee for the day R.O”Connor. This bunch of girls were unlucky to lose the Ulster Final in Brewster Park to Tyrone ,so here is hoping it is second time lucky for a very focused and talented squad. A good crowd of supporters would be appreciated on the day to give the girls the support they deserve.

The county board decided last night to play the outstanding matches in 13 aside in round 5 and 6 which are as follows.

Round 5 .

Glenfin v Aodh Ruadh,

Termon v Moville,

Four masters v Mc Cumhaills,

Round 6.

Mc Cumhaills v St. Eunans,

Aodh Ruadh v Termon,

Glenfin v Four Masters,

It was also decided to set up a summer league for Intermediate and Junior clubs to give them football during the period when the county team are playing.

The Senior team which lost the Ulster semi final to Tyrone meets Down in Clones on the 23rd July at 3pm when the referee will be S.McIntyre in the TG4 Championship draw.
