Dublin aim to reach U-16 All-Ireland Final

Dublin
U-16 Captain Andrea Bowe (Round Towers)

All Ireland Semi Final Saturday 26th of May 2004

The
Dublin U-16 team will be hoping to emulate their Under-14
counterpart’s achievements of last weekend by also
reaching their All Ireland final. Standing in the
young Dub’s way is Cork. Cork has had huge success
at juvenile level over the last few years and will
go into Saturday’s Semi final wearing the favorites
tag! However Dublin have also enjoyed success at juvenile
level winning four U-14 Leinster titles and two U-16
Leinster titles since 2001, with seven of Dublin’s
starting 15 having played in last year’s All Ireland
semi final versus Cavan.

Dublin have a very strong panel a number of which
have four Leinster medals in the back pockets with
two players namely Keeper Lyn Dowling and centre back
Lorna Hillery also involved with the Dublin senior
squad. Everyone involved in Dublin Ladies GAA would
like to wish the players and their management all
the very best in Saturday’s semi final…..come on the
Dub’s!!
