Fairplay Ladies Gaelic Special

The next edition of Fairplay is due out next week and it
is fair to say that it is a Ladies Gaelic Special.

There are 11 pages of ladies gaelic in it and Nicola Lacey
of Donegal in full flow is on the front cover. Inside there
are full page action shots and profiles of Marcella Heffernan
(Mayo), Angela Casey (Laois), Geraldine O Shea (Kerry) and
Debbie Lee Fox (Donegal). There is also four excellent articles.

Mary O Connor from Cork talks about the dilemma of chosing
between football and camogie. There is a two page interview
with Helen O Rourke. The Mc Nally’s from Monaghan are profiled
in an article entitled “the magnificent seven” and Kathleen
Kane throws some light on the emmergence of Sligo.

All in all an excellent read which should be supported by
lady gaelic footballers.
