Joe, from Galway, was an outstanding hurler during his playing career and served as president of the GAA from 1997 to 2000. During his presidency Joe was a great friend to and advocate of Ladies Gaelic Football. He will be sadly missed by all in the gaelic games community. Share this Article 0 0
