LGFA President calls on all Officers to Utilise Expertise

This year’s National County & Club Officer Day will take place in Croke Park this Saturday 30th January and LGFA President Marie Hickey calls on all officers to utilise this opportunity to listen to great speakers and gain valuable insight for their roles.

A chara,

I would like to begin by wishing you a very happy and successful 2016.

As new county and club boards have recently been confirmed I am sure that there are many new officers that are coming to grips with your new roles. It is for this reason that the Ladies Gaelic Football Association are hosting a County and Club Officer day in Croke Park on Saturday, January 30th.

This is an extremely valuable day that will be a huge help to all officers in clubs and counties and is an excellent opportunity to meet with your equivalents in other clubs/counties and learn from each other.

I would urge all of you to attend this day as it will be invaluable to you throughout the year and we will have two wonderful keynote speakers in Gary Keegan from the Irish Institute of Sport and Sarah Keane, CEO of Swim Ireland.

I look forward to seeing all of you there and encourage you to book your places.

Regards

Marie Hickey

LGFA President
