Man O’War win Glasgow womens Celtic festival tournament

The ManO’War Ladies team headed to Glasgow last weekend to compete in the Women’s Celtic festival ladies football tournament, the tournament was hosted by Tir Conaill Gaels GAA club which is based in Glasgow city . The girls competed in 9-aside a round robin series of matches against local and Irish teams, and progressed to the final after a comprehensive victory in the semi final. The final was played against Tullysaran of Armagh, this was tense game up until half time with the
neither team getting on the score board, in the 2nd half Man O’War won the throw in and began to take control of the game, eventually winning by 4 points with top scorer Emma Mc Glynn adding to her tournament tally of 6-1. The girls would like to thank everyone who gave sponsorship & support during their fundraising for this tour, and great weekend was had by all.
