Meath Ladies Notes 27.04.2015

Meath Ladies are back in action next weekend with under 14s, under 16s and the Minors all out in the Leinster Championship.

First up on Saturday are the u16s who face a trip to Laois in the final round robin game. The game is a must win as victory over Laois will ensure a place in the U16 ‘A’ Final where the opponents will be Dublin.

On Sunday, the u14s face a relatively short trip to Kildare where nothing but a will do to also find a place in the U14 ‘A’ Final. Both under 14s and under 16s have been faultless since their round one games to Dublin and with all going to plan, they will get another crack at the teams from the Capital in the Final.

Best wishes to Peter and all the under 14s and Phil and all the under 16s as they prepare this week for their last round games,

On Bank Holiday Monday, Meath Minors face Wicklow in the Leinster Minor ‘C’ final. The familiar grounds of Clane GAA will host the final and the game forms the second half of a double header with Louth and Carlow battling it out for the ‘C’ Shield at 1.45 and Meath taking on Wicklow at 3.30. Meath have had a faultless campaign thus far. They defeated Wicklow on Valentines Day in the opening round of the competition but will know not to underestimate the Garden County next Monday. Best of luck to Eamon and all the gang ahead of this final.
