4 All-Stars for Galway

ALL-IRELAND
finalists Galway and Dublin dominated the ladies
footballers’ All-Star awards with both counties
picking up four awards at Saturday night’s banquet.

The Suzuki National League winners and defeated
All-Ireland semi-finalists Mayo received three awards
while first time Munster champions and League finalists
Cork received two.

Galway native Mick Fitzgerald, the most successful
manager in the history of Ladies Football who steered
Kerry to a famous nine in-a-row entered the Hall
of Fame.
