Carlow Announce New Sponsor

Kennans, the Borris based livestock feeding company is Carlow Ladies footballers new sponsor for 2003. 100 hopefuls paid one hundred euro each for the chance of getting their name on the carlow shirt.

Carlow ladies fields inter county teams from under twelve right up to senior level. Geraldine giles president of the Ladies Gaelic football association made the draw in front of a large audience at brooks in Dinn Ri Carlow on Saturday night.

Keenans, the award-winning company founded in 1979, which has its headquarters in Co. Carlow, Ireland, initially only produced mixer wagons, but has since developed a comprehensive nutrition support programme, meeting the increasingly demanding needs of dairy and beef farmers worldwide.

Carlow ladies county secretary Seamus Marnane cofirmed that they are delighted with the public response to their innovative method of finding a new sponsor, coincidently keenans also sponsor the county carlow rugby club who just a couple of weeks ago ensured their place in the top flight of the A.I.L.
