Kildare and Waterford Name Teams

TG4 Intermediate All Ireland Final

Kildare v Waterford, 1:45pm (M. Kenny)

Kildare want to make it a quick return to the senior grade when they take on Waterford in the TG4 Intermediate Final on Sunday at 1:45pm. Kildare last won an All Ireland title in 2004 and two of that team will play again on Sunday including captain, Aisling Holton and star forward Maria Moolick. The team shows only one change from their emphatic victory over Offaly with Grace Clifford coming into the side in place of Mikaela McKenna.

Waterford manager, Pat Sullivan, has kept the faith with the starting 15 that defeated Leitrim in their All Ireland semi final. Linda Wall will captain the team from corner back with sister, Aileen Wall, again being the danger woman in attack. Maria Delahunty will start at centre half forward where she will hope to continue her amazing prowess from long range dead ball opportunities.
