within the county and 15 clubs registered in 2005, up
3 on 2006. It is hoped that this number will grow over
2006.

A number of motions were proposed and passed by clubs
which will result in a much more strict approach to the
playing of fixtures as set by the county board. U14 County
Managers Barney O’Neill (St. Vincents) and Peter McArdle
(Roche Emmets) were appointed while Harry Brennan (Naomh
Martin), Peter McArdle (Roche Emmets), Davy Sheils (Roche

Louth County Board looks forward to the year ahead and
wishes all clubs every success in their endeavours to
reach the top of their division in both League and Championship
competitions. Louth will be entering teams at Senior and
Junior County grades for 2006 and both teams will play
their first game on 5th February 2006.

attending training in JJB indoor soccer stadium for the
last number of weeks.
