LGFA announce appointment of new National Development Manager

THE Ladies Gaelic Football Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Lyn Savage as National Development Manager.

The LGFA is ideally placed to continue its recent rate of growth and expansion, and Lyn is ideally suited to the role that she will now occupy.

Lyn will help to oversee the implementation of the LGFA’s new Strategic Plan, which will be launched shortly.

She has been working with the LGFA for ten years, and is a former GPO with the Dublin county board.

A graduate of Ulster University, Jordanstown, Lyn was an inter-county player with Louth for 15 years, and she hails from the Cooley Kickhams club.

Lyn is a qualified Coaching Ireland tutor, delivering LGFA Coach and referee Education.

Lyn, who was previously a National Development Officer with the LGFA, is also hugely involved in the Climb4Clare campaign and the associated CLIMB programme.

We wish Lyn every success in her new role and we are very much looking forward to exciting times ahead for the Association.

Lyn can be contacted at: lyn.savage@lgfa.ie
