Lidl and Ladies Football Win Big at European Sponsorship Awards

The European Sponsorship Awards took place in London on Thursday bringing together the best sponsorships from right across Europe honouring the best sponsorships with the title of best in Europe.

Lidl and Ladies Gaelic Football were nominated for 2 awards for the #serioussupport campaign that ran throughout 2016. 

Lidl swept the boards at the awards winning the 2 categories for which they were nominated; Best Sport Sponsorship <€750,000 and Best Newcomer to Sponsorship. As a result of winning these awards they were then put forward for 2 further awards winning the ‘Best Sport Sponsorship Award’ and then the overall ‘Sponsorship of the Year’ award.

This was a remarkable achievement for both Lidl and the LGFA who have been recognised as the best sponsorship in Europe.
