NEW!!! First Aid for Sport Course!

Coaching NI has added a much requested “First Aid for Sport” course
to its provision of high quality training for Sport. Our first
scheduled courses are in May. The course costs £85 per person
but for a limited time only it will be £75 per person.

History of REC

The CNI First Aid for Sport qualification is based on REC, Rescue
Emergency Care and is a nationally recognised first aid training
scheme. History of REC Developed and honed through the rigorous
terrain of the outdoors, Rescue Emergency Care REC was originally
founded by specialist doctors working in remote healthcare. REC
evolved from the first aid courses set up by Dr Bob Phillips and
colleagues. There was a need for a first aid course which went
beyond that taught traditionally by the National Associations.
The courses were designed to cover not only the first aid needed
to meet the HSE guidelines, which are appropriate for people in
urban environments with an ambulance never far away, but also
for people working in remote areas, where advanced medical aid
may be a long time coming or evacuation may be required. For this
reason REC is widely adopted by outdoor pursuits.

This course can be presented on Sundays or over two evenings
