Tyrone Ladies launch new sponsor

A Chairde Gael, Cumman Peil Gael na mBan, Tir Eoghain, are proud to announce an exciting new sponsorship arrangement with Strathroy Fresh Milk.

Strathroy Fresh Milk have become the new principal sponsor, and their distinctive logo will appear for the first time in the Ulster Senior Championship First-Round this Sunday, 20th June 2004 in the tie against Monaghan.

Tyrone Ladies boast a proud and fruitful history, amassing a total of three Ulster Senior Football titles, five Ulster Junior titles and the All-Ireland Junior Championship in 1999. Last season, Tyrone once again secured the Ulster title for the third time in four years, and are once again confident of further silverware this term.

The sponsorship agreement has been reached with the Dublin Branch of Strathroy Fresh Milk as the company aims to further its advances in the competitive All-Ireland market… as do the Tyrone Senior Ladies!

It is both a privilege and an honour to be sponsored by a company with such a great reputation across Ireland, and one which we in Cumann Peil Gael na mBan are proud to be associated with. The launch took place in Kellys Inn on Monday 14th June and was well attended by the media and club representatives.

Find beneath a copy of the statement made by County Chairperson Mary Connolly at the event. We look forward to your continued support as we embark on what we all hope will be another highly successful season, with anticipation that we may reach heights beyond those reached before.

Address By Mary Connolly, Chairperson, Cumann Peil Gael na mBan Tir Eoghain

Fellow Gaels, assembled members of the media, It is with a great sense of pride and excitement that I am able to stand before you here tonight to officially launch this new partnership between Cumman Peil Gael na mBan Tir Eoghain and our new principal sponsor, Strathroy Fresh Milk.

Strathroy Fresh and ourselves share a number of similar traits;
· They are amongst the leaders in their own field, just like ourselves
· They consistently strive for and achieve the highest possible standards, as do we
· They aim to venture into new frontiers, to break down barriers, to become the best they possibly can be… Just as the Tyrone Ladies do!

This agreement marks the end of a lengthy fundraising drive, and it would be amiss of me not to thank all of our members for their assistance and hard work. I also thank those who supported our organisation by the purchasing of fundraising tickets and other financial contributions.

I also take this opportunity to thank the assembled media for their ongoing support and coverage of our games. Together, we are successfully taking our game to a whole new level and a whole new audience.

Finally, I wish our Senior squad and their management team every success for the upcoming Championship campaign. We have consistently achieved great things in the past, but we are not content to merely rest on our laurels.

As we embark on our new partnership with Strathroy Fresh Milk, I honestly believe that 2004 can prove to be our most successful campaign to date, and bring with it an unprecedented level of success for both our team and theirs.

I look forward with anticipation to the exciting times ahead in a summer of celebration for all Tyrone Gaels.
