U14 Ulster Final

U14 Ulster Final

The U-14 Team have reached the Ulster Final and is set to play on Saturday 1st May in Monaghan, Time yet to be decided.
This year was a great turnout of girls reaching up to 80 for trails in Mid January. This is a great achievement to see so many young girls interested in Gaelic Football. A Panel was selected and they have been training 3 times a week and their dedication must be acknowledged.
They had their first competitive match against Tyrone which was very close and narrowly defeating them 4-08 to 4-06, their next game was against Down being played in Donegal Town and won by 4-22 to 1-06. Their 3rd encounter was against Cavan away and defeated them with a scoreline of 5-12 to 4-06.
They played their Final game last week against their Ulster Finalists Monaghan and defeated them 6-10 to 5-05, although both teams did not play to their full potential.
These girls have put alot of hard work to get to the Ulster Final and would appreciate as much support on Saturday to see them bring home the Ulster Title to Donegal. Good luck to the Management Team and to all the Girls!
