CENTRAL COUNCIL APPOINT ULSTER DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The Central Council of the LGFA have taken a very progressive step
with the appointment of a full time Ulster Development Officer.
Sheena Tally who hails from Galbally, Tyrone took up her new post
in early January. Sheena who played football until forced to quit
through injury has a wealth of experience in the sports field having
managed several leisure complexes. Prior to her new appointment
Sheena worked as a sports Development Officer in Belfast.

Sheena will be a busy lady over the next few months with the writing
and implementation of a strategic plan a priority. Sheena also plans
to get involved in a number of initiatives such as coach development,
improving club/schools links, providing training for Children’s
Officers, running health seminar with VHI and recruiting more female
referees.

Sheena will be based at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown
