They shall be subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the relevant Committee, Board or Council. Each Committee, Board or Council shall be responsible for the payment of such officials.

 

Paid officials shall not be eligible to coach, train, manage, select or have any other related involvement  with inter-county, provincial, colleges, schools or club teams, other than his/her own club.

Rule 478 Penalty for a Sending Off offence to be amended as follows:

 

A player sent off for any of the above offences shall be suspended for a

minimum of 2 matches in the same Code and at the same Level, applicable to the next games in the same Competition, even if one or more game(s) occur(s) in the following year’s competition;

 

Should any of the above offences be repeated in a calendar year, she shall be suspended for a minimum of 3 matches in the same Code and at the same Level, applicable to the next games in the same Competition in which the Repeat Offence occurred, even if one or more game(s) occur(s) in the following year’s competition.

 

In the situation where there are not enough games remaining in the same Competition to serve the suspension in its entirety, the player shall be suspended for 2 matches in the next grade she is eligible to play in.

In urgent cases between meetings where a player has been sent off, the following procedure shall apply:

 

(a)        There shall be an obligation on the player, her Club or County Committee as appropriate, to request the Council or Committee responsible to clarify if the minimum 2 match suspension applies.

 

(b)        The Committee or Council on receipt of such a request, shall make emergency arrangements to check and direct on the position of the player concerned, pending a meeting of the said Committee or Council.

 

(c)        If it is clear from the referee’s report that the minimum 2 match suspension applies, the penalty shall be declared between meetings and the player concerned shall be entitled to play on the expiration of the 2 match suspension

 

(d)        The suspension shall be noted at the next meeting of the Committee or Council.

For the kick out from goal after a wide in all competitions the ball may be kicked from the hands or off the ground, from the 13 metre line.  All players except the kicker and the goal keeper shall be outside the 20 metre line and at least 13metres from the ball until it is kicked.”

 

The ball must cross the 20metre line, before being played by another player. Where another player offends, a free shall be awarded to the opposing team on the 20metre line opposite to where the foul occurred.
