Plenty of Provincial Championship Action around the Country this weekend

On Saturday the 23rd June two grades of the Ulster Championship will be decided.

In the Intermediate Final 2011 TG4 Intermediate Finalists Cavan will take on Armagh, and in the Junior Championship Antrim and Derry will go head to head. Both games will be played in the Athletic Grounds in Armagh with the Intermediate throwing in at 1pm and the Junior at 3pm.

Further south in Arklow, 2011 Junior All Ireland Champions Wicklow will take on the 2012 Bord Gáis Energy Division 4 Champions in the Leinster Intermediate Final. This is expected to be a very competitive match as both teams are eagerly looking to make their mark on the 2012 Intermediate Championship. Match throws in at 3pm in Pearse Park Arklow.

Ladies Football action continues in to Sunday the 24th with the Gillespie’s Tubbercurry  Connacht Intermediate semi final between Leitrim and Sligo in McHale Park at 12pm.

Again more action on the east coast with the Preliminary round of the Leinster Senior Championship taking place at 3pm in Newbridge between Dublin and Kildare, and the preliminary round of the Leinster Junior Championship between Carlow and Louth throwing in at 3pm in Dr Cullen Park Carlow.
