Grab Your Whistle comes to Munster

 

What is the Initiative about?

Grab your Whistle, the referee programme aimed at recruiting new
FEMALE referees will take place in Munster in the coming weeks.

Who can participate?

Females over the age of 16 with an interest in becoming a qualified
referee can take part in this exciting new course. Participants
may be a developing referee, a current linesperson who has never
crossed the line, a past player who wishes to become involved
or they may never have refereed or played before but have an interest
in Gaelic Football.

What will you be qualified to Ref?

When completed, the referees will be qualified to officiate at
club underage games and County U-14 games.

Details of Course:

Day 1 10 to 4pm Saturday November 10th 2007

Day 2 10 to 4pm Saturday December 1st 2007

Day 3 10 to 12pm January 2008 P

rior to the final training day the attendees will be required
to have gained some experience in refereeing at underage club
level. They will have been introduced to a “buddy”, an experienced
referee within the county, who will be available for support if
needed.

Venue:

Central venue will be chosen to suit all participants in the programme.

FREE and still some places available.
