Roscommon LGFA notes - June 4 2018

Development 

Roscommon Ladies Gaelic Football Association inaugural schools blitz will be held on June 8th 2018.

Roscommon LGFA will run a football blitz day for national schools within the county. This will be hosted by the St. Faitleaths club in Ballyleague on Friday the 8th June commencing at 10:30.

This event aims to build relations with national schools, building upon the good work currently undertaken by clubs and coaches to develop the game at grass roots level.

Almost 50 schools have been invited to attend with approximately 20 confirmed to participate.

This initiative from Roscommon LGFA is an important step in growing female participation in sport in the county.

Venue – St. Faithleachs, Ballyleague

First game Time – 10:30

Refreshments will be served on the day

Fixtures 

Club secretaries have been sent information on fixtures for the U12 and U14 games over the next two weeks.

Rebecca Finan travelled to Croke Park for a ceremony and collected her award after being named on the 2018 Lidl NFL Division 3 Team of the League.
