St. Nathys hosted the U10 Girls Blitz in Bunninadden on Saturday last. 7 teams from the county participated, St. Nathys, St. Farnans, Geevagh, Tubbercurry/Cloonacool, Tourlestrane, Curry & Castleconnor. Players and spectators had a few showers to contend with but the games were well managed and all players were eger to show their skills, they made their clubs proud and also gave great confidence in the development of Ladies Football within the County for the future. We thank all of the teams who participated and St. Nathys senior members and parents who helped in officiating the games and providing the refreshments. The main organisers were Noelle Gormley and Katrina Connolly who are St. Nathys players and are members of the Sligo Development Team. A word of thanks is extended to Bunninadden pitch committee who had the grounds and facilities in perfect condition for the day. Brilliant team and player Pictures are available thanks to the talented Colette Coleman on “St Nathys Ladies GFC” Facebook page.
