2026 European Week of Sport - Get involved!

Global Coaches Day takes place on Friday, 25 September during European Week of Sport.

This year, we are asking NGBs and LSPs to help recognise the coaches who make a difference to participants, athletes, clubs and communities.

There are three simple ways to take part:

• Post it: Choose one of the ready-to-use graphics and share it on 25 September.

• Personalise it: Use the Canva templates to recognise a particular coach and explain the difference they have made.
• Pass it on: Forward this email and the campaign materials to your clubs and wider network.

The template contains square and landscape graphics, along with some simple ideas for recognising coaches.

The graphics can also be customised using the Canva templates:

When posting, please use #ThanksCoach, #BeActive and #SportIreland so that the contributions can be found and shared.
