Munster LGFA award six Higher Education Bursaries

THE Munster Ladies Gaelic Football Association have awarded six Higher Education Bursaries to Third Level students from the province currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme.

Applicants had to outline the coaching and administrative roles undertaken in Ladies Football, along with indicating their achievements with their clubs, schools, colleges and counties to date.

The successful applicants received their bursaries recently in Limerick. Many thanks to Tom Russell of Anois Photography who was on hand to photograph the presentations.

This year’s bursaries were awarded to:

• Kate Maher (University College Dublin & Kerry)
• Ciara Ryan (Mary Immaculate College & Limerick)
• Ciara Hughes (Mary Immaculate College & Cork)
• Róisín Daly (St Patrick’s College DCU & Tipperary)
• Ciara Ryan (University College Cork & Cork)
• Catriona Callinan (University of Limerick & Clare)
