32 teams, 16 Colleges: Here's all you need to know about the 2019 GFP HEC Freshers Blitz

THE scene is set for the 2019 Gourmet Food Parlour HEC Freshers Blitz, which will be held at University of Limerick on Wednesday, October 9.

32 teams from 16 Colleges will participate, with three cups up for grabs.

Colleges will battle it out for silverware in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior grades over the course of what promises to be a memorable day of football.

Colleges are reminded that there is some house-keeping to attend to before the action gets underway, and you can access the Gourmet Food Parlour HEC Freshers Blitz rules and regulations at this LINK.

Meanwhile, the GFP HEC Leagues also get underway this week.

Defending Division 1 Champions UCD get the defence of their title underway against Dublin city rivals DCU on Thursday.
