Apply Now for LGFA Level 2 Coaching Course

The LGFA Level 2 Coaching Course is designed for coaches who want to move beyond sessions and drills and into a deeper understanding of how the game is played, coached and developed at a higher level.

This course places the sport of Ladies Gaelic Football firmly at the centre. It challenges coaches to read the game more effectively, recognise patterns of play as they emerge, and understand what players need before new tactical approaches can be successfully introduced. Rather than offering generic solutions, the course supports coaches to analyse their own teams, identify the specific skills and qualities required within different roles, and tailor training accordingly.

Highly practical in nature, Level 2 supports coaches to:

  • Identify and interpret patterns of play in real game contexts
  • Understand player readiness before implementing tactical change
  • Match players to roles based on skill-set, game intelligence and strengths
  • Design training that reflects the actual demands of match play
  • Develop teams with greater clarity, purpose and cohesion

This course is aimed at experienced, actively coaching practitioners who are ready to refine their decision-making, planning and on-pitch impact.

Places are strictly limited to ensure quality delivery and meaningful engagement throughout the programme.
