THE Ladies Gaelic Football Association is delighted to host its first Adult Player Conference on Sunday 13th January in the National Indoor Arena on Sports Campus in Abbotstown, Dublin.

We recently conducted a player welfare survey which received a huge response and we aim to address many of these topics through an educational, informative and inspirational day designed for adult female players (18+), both club and county.

Speaker bios: 

GRAINNE CONEFREY

Product Development Manager

Grainne manages the development and delivery of FitrWoman and is driving our vision to empower all exercising females to perform at their best. She holds a BSc in Sports and Exercise Management from University College Dublin and has worked directly with pro teams and individual athletes for over five years. Before joining Orreco, she worked with Hill Holliday Marketing Agency in Boston.

GEORGIE BRUINVELS

Sports and Exercise Physiologist & Research Scientist

Georgie leads the science behind FitrWoman. She holds a PhD from University College London and has published widely on the female athlete, iron deficiency and the menstrual cycle.

She is passionate about driving research in female athletes forward. Prior to joining Orreco, she worked for 3 years with UK Anti-Doping.
