CARA Announce Adapted Physical Activity Centre Announce 2014 Disability Inclusion Training Courses

The CARA Adapted Physical Activity Centre is delighted to have announce the 2014 Disability Inclusion Training courses.

 

Disability Inclusion Training is a six hour introduction course designed to give attendees ideas and inspiration to adapt their sessions making them more accessible for participants with a disability. It is a theory and practical course that covers terminology, barriers to participation, offers guidance, gives an introduction to disability sports and the ways of adapting activities to make them inclusive.

 

This is an introduction level course and does not require any prerequisite knowledge therefore anyone who has an interest in Sport, Physical Activity or Physical Education and wants to make it Accessible for ALL!

Certification:

 

On completion of the course all participants will receive a Coaching Ireland/CARA APA Centre award and a course resource pack.
