C.B.E Connacht Championship Launch

 

 

President Mary Quinn launched the 2006 TG4 – C.B.E. Connacht
Ladies Football Championship at a reception in the Belmont Hotel,
Knock recently.

In her comments, Mary Quinn said she was delighted once again
that C.B.E were sponsoring the senior competition for this their
fifth year of a five year deal.

Its all systems go with the competition from now on, and its roll
on 30th July and Connacht Finals in McHale Park Castlebar.

Seamus Murray Financial Director of C.B.E. revealed that its seems
a short 5yrs since they (C.B.E) had begun their sponsorship at
the competition. Wishing all the counties of Connacht every success,
he reserved better wishes for Mayo whom the C.B.E. also sponsosr.

Concluding he apologised on behalf of his senior Director Gerry
Concannon who was unable to attend.

Managing Director of C.B.E. Sean Kenna remarked that it has been
a remarkable 7 years for Ladies Football in the west with 5 of
the past 7 titles coming to Connacht. In the same period 2 Junior
titles also came west.

This years Connacht Finals will played on Sunday July 30th in
McHale Park, Castlebar.
