Connacht Clubs take the field this weekend

Connacht
Clubs take to the field

Connacht Club representatives take to the field
on Sunday next the 7th November in the All Ireland
AIB Club championship Semi-finals.

Grainne Mhaols Galway v Abbeydorney at 1.30 venue
is Lerrig Kilmoyley in the Junior.

St Brigid’s Roscommon v Athea 12.00pm venue is
Kiltoom in the intermediate

Carnacon Mayo v Ballyboden St Enda’s.

Connacht Ladies football is on the up and up and
for a team to be victorious in Connacht has to
be a great preparation ground for the all Ireland
serious.

Carnacon v Ballyboden St. Endas has to be the
clash of the day. A total of fourteen County panellists
are in action Dublin with six and Carnacon with
eight. With Household names such as Claire Egan,
Cora Staunton, Martina Farrell, Gemma Fay and
Fiona Corcoran ladies football should be at its
highest standard. On paper Ballyboden-St Endas
look to be the strongest but in reality Carnacon
seem to have the best-balanced team in resent
years.

St Brigids will be hoping to take it a step closer
and reach the AIB Intermediate when Athea travel
to Kiltoom. St Brigids Orla Gavin Mary Beads and
Fiona Gavin will be working hard for the Roscommon
girls to help their team reach the AIB Club final.

The very young Galway team of Grainne Mhaols fronted
by County Star Lisa Cohill travel the long Journey
from Cliften to Lerrig Kilmoyleg in hopes to make
it to their first All Ireland Final. It will be
a tough task for the Girls from Connamara but
this young team have the ability and enthusiasm
to bring them to the final
