Cork and Dublin Defeated

Monaghan v Cork - TESCO HomeGrown Ladies National Football League Division 1 Round 3

 

It was a huge day in the TESCO NFL with some huge results. Division 1 produced some massive results as Cork lost their 100 percent record as Monaghan defeated them by a point in a breathtaking match played in front of a great home attendance. Galway have now nudged ahead in the table on their own after another resounding win over Tyrone. Kerry versus Laois had to be called off due to a virus in the Laois squad.

Donegal and Cavan remain the pace setters in Division 2 as they were both big winners on the road against Westmeath and Clare respectively. Armagh easily defeated Kildare to make amends for their defeat to Donegal last time out whilst Meath got their first win as they defeated a Down team that are still without a point in the league.

Leitrim and Waterford both maintained their unbeaten run in Division 3 as they defeated Fermanagh and Sligo. Wexford got their first win of the League as they defeated Longford and Roscommon defeated Tipperary to round off the action.

Limerick were able to make light of the trip to Antrim as they defeated them by 3 points after a close encounter.
