Data Protection & GDPR: Further workshops in Cork and Dublin

FOLLOWING the success of the four provincial workshops held recently in relation to Data Protection, the LGFA is running two additional workshops, one in Cork and one in Dublin (details below).

In order to assist your Club/County Board with ensuring you are compliant at all levels and to answer any questions/concerns you have in relation to GDPR, the workshops will be specifically tailored to the LGFA and our structures. 

Following the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act.

There are some significant changes to Data Protection legislation since May 25^th 2018 which have an impact on how the LGFA, at all levels, engages with its members.

It is important that every Club, County Board and Provincial Council are aware of how these changes in the law will affect the ways in which members’ personal information can be collected and used for the running of the LGFA at all levels.
