Donegal and Armagh Both Name Strong Teams

Both Armagh and Donegal have named full strength starting teams for their TESCO NFL Division 2 clash in Parnell Park tomorrow at 2:00pm.

Armagh will hope to be surgical in the middle of the field as their two doctors; Caroline O’Hanlon and Caitlín Malone are paired in the centre of the field. All Star defender Mairéad Tennyson will start in the full back line where she will be expected to pick up Geraldine McLaughlin. Sinead McCleary will play an important role at centre half back as will Kelly Mallon at centre forward but much will be expected of their youthful inside forward line of McConville, McKenna and 18 year old sensation Aimee Mackin.

Donegal are undefeated in 2015 and are clearly riding on the crest of a wave after Termon’s All Ireland Club Final victory. Ciara Hegarty provides experience at the heart of the Donegal defence where she plays behind a strong midfield pairing of Katy Herron Karen Guthrie. Niamh Hegarty is a strong performer at centre forward but 2010 All Star full forward Yvonne McMonagle and the wonderfully talented Geraldine McLaughlin will be the focal points for this Donegal side in the inside forward line.
