23 July 2025 Dublin and Antrim stars to battle it out for ZuCar Golden Boot award on TG4 All-Ireland Finals Day! Share this Article 0 0 0 Shares! 0 Shares! DUBLIN star Hannah Tyrrell leads the race for the 2025 ZuCar Golden Boot award ahead of the TG4 All-Ireland Finals on Sunday August 3. Tyrrell’s haul of 1-6 in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior semi-final victory over Galway moved the Na Fianna ace to the top of the rankings – but just one point clear of her nearest challenger. And that challenger is Antrim’s Maria O’Neill, who will also line out on TG4 All-Ireland Final Sunday, in the Junior decider against Louth. Once Antrim’s game has concluded, Tyrrell will know the target she has to catch, with Dublin due to face Meath in the Senior Final at 4.15pm. Tyrrell currently leads the way with a remarkable haul of 6-23 (41 points) in the TG4 All-Ireland series, with O’Neill (8-16 – 40 points) hot on the heels of the Sky Blue star. Last year’s winner, Fermanagh’s Eimear Smyth, is in third position on 4-22 (34 points) but the Erne County’s season ended at the quarter-final stage of the Intermediate Championship when they lost a thrilling clash to Tyrone after extra-time. Louth’s Kate Flood, who has amassed 3-24 (33 points) to date, trails Tyrrell by eight points in the current top 5, and can’t be discounted either as the Wee County prepare to take on Antrim. Tyrone’s Aoife Horisk, who’s on 3-22 (31 points), completes the top 5 and she also has the chance to force her way into the shake-up as the Red Hands will play Laois in the Intermediate decider. The ZuCar Golden Boot award will be awarded to the top scorer across the TG4 All-Ireland Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships and at this point in time, Tyrrell has the edge, but only just.
