Eva Noone from Kilkerrin-Clonberne is The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month for December 2024

EVA Noone from the Kilkerrin-Clonberne club in Galway has been honoured with The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month award for December 2024.

All-conquering Kilkerrin-Clonberne made it four successive AIB All-Ireland Senior club title wins when they defeated Dublin opponents Kilmacud Crokes at Croke Park on Saturday December 14.

Eva, 21, played a key role, contributing three points in the Final and earning the coveted AIB Player of the Match award.

Eva is now the proud holder of four All-Ireland Senior Club Championship medals and at the start of December, she also contributed three points as Kilkerrin-Clonberne saw off the challenge of Armagh’s Clann Éireann to reach a fifth successive Final.

Prior to that, Eva was also in sparkling form as Kilkerrin-Clonberne landed a seventh straight Connacht Senior title in November.

As Kilkerrin-Clonberne defeated Mayo opponents, Westport, Eva, the proud holder of seven county senior medals and an identical haul at provincial level, led the way with a sensational individual scoring tally of 1-7.

Eva was also joined on the AIB All-Ireland Senior club championship winning team in December by sisters Hannah and Lynsey.

Eva was presented with her award today by Edele O’Reilly, Director of Sales and Marketing, The Croke Park Hotel.
