TG4 All-Ireland Finals – Peil na mBan Beo The 52nd TG4 All-Ireland Senior Final headlines Sunday’s triple-header at Croke Park. This year’s final marks a fresh chapter, as both defending champions Dublin and 2021/2022 winners Meath exited at the quarter-final stage last year. Speaking at the Captain’s Day event in Croke Park on Tuesday, Dublin captain Carla Rowe reflected: “Meath are a really strong team. We know that from 2021, we know that from playing them over Leinster Championships and everything throughout the last couple of years and obviously this year” Meath captain Aoibhín Cleary added: “On All-Ireland Final day anything can happen – getting the crowd behind you like that will have a huge impact” [Link: Full senior captains’ interviews] Before the Senior Final, the Intermediate decider will see Tyrone, runners-up in 2024, look to go one better against Laois, the 2022 Intermediate champions who were relegated from senior last summer in a narrow defeat to Kildare. Tyrone captain Aoibhinn McHugh shared her thoughts: “We know it’s going to be a challenge, but we’re ready” While Laois captain Andrea Moran commented: “It’d be huge for us to get over the line, to get back up playing Senior, we’re really excited” [Link: Full intermediate captains’ interviews] In the Junior Final, Antrim, recently relegated, face a resurgent Louth side who fell at the final hurdle last year. Áine Breen, Louth captain, said: “We’ll do our homework on them. They’ll do it on us. Hopefully it’ll just make for a great game on Sunday” While Antrim’s Bronagh Devlin added: “We’ve gone more than to plan. We’ve been undefeated and you want to keep that going, especially on Sunday” [Link: Full Junior Captains’ Interviews] Follow Spórt TG4 and Ladies Gaelic Football on all social media platforms for the latest build-up, interviews, and highlights in the run-up to the big day.
