Fermanagh Ladies v Cavan Ladies Fermanagh ladies play their Cavan counterparts in the first round of the league for the second year in succession, Cavan having won the corresponding fixture last year by a single point down in Templeport. The Fermanagh girls have home advantage this year as the game is fixed for Brewster Park in Enniskillen on Sunday 7th February with a 2.15pm throw in. Both teams have new managers this year at the helm with Adrian Mc Govern in charge of the Cavan team and David Mee with the Fermanagh Ladies. Games between these two teams have always been close and tense and the football of a very high standard. The two teams have played each other numerous times down through the last number of seasons in the league, Ulster Championship and the All-Ireland qualifiers. Both teams have developed a healthy respect for each other and as stated earlier games between these two local neighbours and rivals have always been close affairs and if last years games are anything to go by this g ame will be well worth the admission fee.
