Galway U20 Intercounty manager 2026 - Expressions of Interest

Galway LGFA are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons for the position of Intercounty U20 manager for the 2026 season

Candidates must:

• Be a member of the LGFA & have a good working knowledge of how Ladies Football procedures & policies operate
• Hold current Garda Vetting & Safeguarding certificates
• Demonstrate at least 3 years of a successful track record in Club and or Inter-County Management.
• Have an ability to demonstrate/organise a high standard of Coaching (at least Level 1 Coaching Certificate is preferred).
• Have an understanding of and work within the Guidelines of the LGFA
• Work in cooperation  with the Senior Intercounty Manager
• Create a positive & safe environment to allow all players & management to develop to the best of their ability.

• It is also within the remit of Galway LGFA to identify possible suitable candidates for these roles.

• The Inter County U20 championship is a pilot programme which will see the squad compete at Connacht and National level. The first round is on 18^th April and concludes with All Ireland Final on 11^th July 2026.
