Glenfin win first Senior County Final

Glenfin Senior Ladies have waited along time for this day but they say keep trying and success will come at last.

Managed by Frank Mc Glynn the Donegal Senior player has managed these girls for several years and their never say die attitude has payed off at last. Four Masters started off as if they were going to annihalate them with a goal from Kelly Lacey within a minute. Karen Guthrie replied with a point and Cathy Mc Kenna with a goal for the champions. Four Masters got three more points in the remainder of the half per Elaine Mc Intyre,Leanne Shovlin and Kelly Lacey. Glenfin replied with four more in the half Anna Bradley,Yvonne with two from frees and Karen Guthrie a point.

Half time score Glenfin 1-5 Four Masters 1-3.

Glenfin took control in the second half with the following scores, Karen Guthrie a goal and a point,Yvonne Mc Monagle a point,Mari Herron a point,Yvonne Mc Monagle two more points the second from a free and Karen Guthrie two points to seal victory for the Glenfin girls. Four Masters scored four points in the second half with one from Kelly Lacey from a free. Kate Keaney made a great solo run and scored a super point. Kelly Lacey finished the half with two points, the second from a free. Thus the game ended.
