Green Farm Foods Unveiled as New Sponsor

Green Farm Foods was last night unveiled as the new sponsor of the Connacht Ladies Gaelic Football Post Primary Schools championship at the launch of the 2012/2013 competitions at Hannons Hotel Roscommon.

 

Green Farm Foods becomes the title sponsor of all tweleve schools competitions, in which our five counties compete.  Ladies football is the largest female participation sport in the country and Green Farm Foods is delighted to have signed a deal with Connacht Ladies Gaelic Football Council.

 

The Green Farm Foods Connacht Ladies Post Primary Schools championships was officially launched at a ceremony in Hannons Hotel attended by Cumann Peil Gael Connacht na mBán President Kathleen Kane and Green Farm Foods Marketing Manager Oliver Durkin and Western Region Sales Manager Basil Sexton, officers of the ladies Connacht Council, along with players, teachers and representatives from in the five competing counties.

 

Kathleen Kane Sligo, President of the Connacht Ladies Gaelic Football Council said, “We are delighted to welcome a leading company like Green Farm Foods on board as title sponsor of our Post Primary Schools competitions for the season.  With Green Farm Foods as our partners it will enable us to further develop our games within our Post Primary School level by providing top class competitive fixtures as well as equipment for all our schools participating.”

In Connacht we have twelve competitions of which six reach All Ireland stage with the remaining six finishing at the Connacht final stage each year. Since the Post Primary School competitions began each county has tasted All Ireland glory with a number of schools winning more than one title.
