THE Ladies Gaelic Football Association is pleased to announce the teams bidding to become 2025 Interfirms champions – with unprecedented interest in this year’s event. All roads lead to the GAA’s National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown, Dublin, tomorrow, Saturday, October 11, with ten teams signed up to compete for the top prize. In addition, 22 teams have signed up to take part in a recreational blitz, where no matter what the level, experience or ability, teams will play lots of football, socialise with each other and have fun. The teams competing in the competitive section of the LGFA Interfirms blitz will battle it out for the Cup and Shield titles on offer. PWC will aim to retain the title they won last year, as they compete once again in the competitive section. Winners previously in 2022, PWC returned to the podium in 2024 to collect the silverware on offer, and on the back of winning all seven fixtures on the day. Looking ahead, Ladies Gaelic Football Association President, Trina Murray, commented: “It’s a pleasure to welcome teams from across the country to this special event. Whether you’re competing at competitive level, or simply enjoying the game at a recreational level, the LGFA Interfirms is about connection, camaraderie, and celebrating Ladies Football as part of a team. “The spirit of this blitz lies in participation, teamwork, and fun—values at the heart of our Association. Best of luck to all teams, and thank you for your continued support and passion for the game. Bainigí taitneamh as an lá! Go n-éirí libh!” The teams who will aim for LGFA Interfirms glory are as follows: Advocates for Personal Potential Training Services Donegal Smart physiotherapy & fitness Down PWC Dublin Dublin Fire brigade Dublin An Garda Siochana Louth Defence Forces National Irish Prison Service Nationwide AIB Nationwide Moate Community School Westmeath Blessington Community College Wicklow The following teams will take part in the recreational blitz: NI Civil Service Antrim Craigavon Integrated College Armagh Bailieborough Community School Ballers Cavan Apple Cork BioMarin International Limited Cork MERCK Cork Rosses Community School Donegal Bank of Ireland Dublin Accenture Dublin Dublin City University Dublin Iarnród Éireann Dublin National forensic mental health service Dublin DBFL Consulting Engineers Dublin Gallivan Murphy Insurance Brokers Kerry Activ8 Energies Monaghan Flogas Ireland Ltd Nationwide Irish Prison Service X3 Nationwide Boston Scientific Clonmel X 2 Tipperary Blackwater Community School Waterford Share this Article 0 0
