Information session for clubs who wish to apply for South Dublin County Council Community Grants

SOUTH Dublin County Council will be launching its 2019 Community Grants Scheme next Monday, March 11.

The scheme will have a fund of €350,000, of which €70,000 is specifically earmarked for sport.

All sports applications will be reviewed before recommendations are made for grants.

There is also a Community Infrastructure Fund of €320,000, which will provide grants of €5,000-50,000 to organisations that have match funding in place but need some additional funding to complete a capital project.

There may be some sports clubs that need some additional funding to carry out works and this can fit in here.

One of the issues raised at the Development Officers meeting last Autumn was that there are many clubs who don’t complete the application forms correctly.

Therefore, an information session for clubs where people will be walked through the process, in terms of what is eligible/not eligible, information required etc., has been arranged

It will take place on Monday March 11th @ 7.30pm in the Chamber of Co. Hall, Tallaght

Clubs wishing to attend should register their interest at info@sdcsp.ie
