Join the Board of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association

Expressions of Interest are now invited to join the board of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA).

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association is one of Ireland’s largest and most dynamic female sporting organisations, representing a thriving and rapidly expanding community of over 1,200 clubs both nationally and internationally.

We are now seeking expressions of interest from experienced and motivated individuals to join our Management Committee as an independent board member.

About the Role
As a member of the Management Committee, you will play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction and governance of the Association. The Committee oversees all aspects of LGFA operations, including:

• Strategic leadership and development
• Financial oversight and risk management
• Policy implementation and organisational governance
• Discipline and regulatory matters

This is an opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of a leading national sporting body.

• Provide independent and objective oversight

Additional Information

• The Committee is chaired by the President of the LGFA
• Meetings are held on a monthly basis
• The LGFA is committed to maintaining its current 50:50 gender balance at board level
